Chocko Valliappa Featured in Business India Magazine

BANGALORE, April 5, 2021 - Chocko Valliappa, CEO of Vee Technologies, has been featured in Business India, a magazine that highlights excellence in the corporate world.

The article discusses Vee Technologies’ two decades of providing technology-enabled solutions in healthcare, engineering, finance and accounting, and more. Vee Technologies provides information technology services like clinical coding and revenue cycle management to more than 150 American hospitals, including six of the top 20. Unlike many other companies, Business India reports that Vee Technologies’ focus on corporate social responsibility (CSR) sets it apart. In the feature, Chocko Valliappa describes the company’s recent partnership with Canada’s University Health Network (UHN) that has made recent headlines. Aptly named the “FIBRE Project,” this collaboration involves multi-university research and commercialization of smart fabrics that will address health-related issues. Both Vee Technologies and University Health Network believe their development of smart fabrics will help people with chronic illnesses, those with disabilities, and the elderly. Chocko Valliappa adds that Sona College, the university affiliated with the Sona Group, will contribute to the partnership by using its faculty, students, and laboratories. While the FIBRE Project is based in India and Canada, Chocko Valliappa and Bradly G. Wouters, executive vice-president of science and research at UHN, believe it will make lives easier around the world.


Vee Technologies’ accomplishments were recently recognized in Modern Healthcare’s “Best Places to Work in Healthcare” list. Chocko Valliappa is particularly proud of this award, telling Business India that it is proof of the company’s quick adaptation to a work-from-home model amid COVID-19.
